Stephen Boehmer
CPA, Director
Stephen is a CPA with over 17 years in public accounting and joined the Fraser team in 2016. He specializes in taxation including individuals, businesses and non-profits. His experience includes an emphasis on small business and individual taxation.
Stephen is currently a member of the Colorado Society of CPAs (COCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Colorado State University in 2003 and his Masters of Taxation from the University of Denver in 2015.
It was Stephen’s passion for the great outdoors that brought him to Grand County. When he is not focused on providing high quality services to his clients, he is likely skiing, riding a bike, camping or enjoying what Grand County has to offer. His other interests include reading and spending time with family.
Timothy Day
Principal
Tim is a CPA with over 40 years of experience in public accounting and started his own business 37 years ago in Fraser, Colorado. He specializes in taxation including individuals, businesses, trusts, and non-profits.
He is currently a member of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Colorado-Boulder in 1980.
Tim enjoys traveling, skiing, golf, fly fishing and spending time with family, especially his grandkids.
Scott Marks
Tax Manager
Scott is a CPA with more than 20 years of experience in public and private accounting and joined Day & Associates in July of 2003. He has extensive experience in audits, reviews, taxation, and consulting services for homeowner associations. Additionally, he has considerable experience in taxation including individuals, businesses, trusts, and non-profits.
Scott is currently a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Colorado in 1988 and his Master’s Degree from the University of Oregon in 1993.
Matt Shea
Tax Manager
Matt is a CPA that joined the Fraser Valley Tax team in December 2020 while working remotely in Alaska before relocating to Winter Park. His passion and love for the outdoors led him to Alaska and Colorado after growing up in New York. Matt specializes in taxation and has experience preparing returns for both individuals and businesses. After starting out his career focusing on partnership taxation involving hedge funds and private equity, he has transitioned his focus to individual and small business taxation and tax planning. Outside of work he can be found backcountry skiing, mountain biking, and enjoying all things outdoors.
Matt is currently a member of the Colorado Society of CPAs (COCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He received a dual degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Maryland in 2015.
Priscilla Chuong
Business Advisor
Priscilla is a business advisor with over three years of experience in the accounting field. Attending the University of Houston, Priscilla graduated in 2017 earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. With the Colorado mountains calling her name, she relocated to Fraser promptly after graduation. Priscilla specializes in payroll, sales tax returns, preparation of financial statements, and general accounting services.
When she’s not working, you can find Priscilla in the great outdoors, skiing, hiking, rock climbing, fly fishing, traveling, or reading a great book.
Barbara Hoover
Business Advisor
Barbara is a Business Advisor with ten years of experience in the accounting field. She spent all that time at the same accounting firm in Kentucky. However, Barbara sensed a new adventure in her future and decided to relocate to Fraser to join our team in May 2021. Barbara has a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree from Western Kentucky University. She specializes in payroll, sales tax returns, preparation of financial statements, and general accounting services.
A fan of the little things in life, Barbara enjoys everything from spending time with friends and family, to reading a good book or watching a movie, and travelling to new destinations.
Devin York
Office Manager
Devin has over 26 years of bookkeeping, customer service and office administration experience. As far back as Devin can remember, she always wanted to live in Boulder, CO and 20 years ago- having been no further west than Philadelphia, PA- Devin made the decision to leave Vermont and make a dream come true. She lived in Boulder for about 16 years and made the decision to move to the Fraser Valley about 5 years ago with her now husband Scott and their combined three kids.
When not in the office, Devin and her family can be found enjoying all that Colorado has to offer- skiing, snowboarding, x-county skiing, dirt biking, kayaking, snowshoeing, floating the rivers, enjoying the craft beer scene- or at home in her garden, reading, staying up to date with her yoga practice, or cooking up something delicious.
Walker Daugherty
Tax Advisor
Walker became a member of the Fraser Valley Tax team in 2021. Specializing in taxation, he possesses expertise in preparing returns for individuals as well as businesses. Walker pursued accounting during his academic years at the University of Northern Colorado and subsequently attained an MBA from the University of Florida. Driven by his affinity for sunny climates, he currently operates remotely from Phoenix. During his leisure hours, Walker indulges in hiking excursions with his canine companions, embarks on travels with his loved ones, and dedicates time to studying for the CPA exams.
Todd Winczewski
Principal
Todd is a CPA with over 30 years of experience in public accounting and was a shareholder at Day and Associates, CPA firm. He specializes in taxation including individuals, businesses, and trusts. His experience includes a special emphasis on real estate taxation including development, management, sales, and like kind (1031) exchanges.
Todd is currently a member of the Colorado Society of CPAs (COCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Dickinson State University in 1992 and his Masters of Taxation from the University of Denver in 1994.
Todd participates in reined cow horse events.
